Investicated is an independent analysis and research tool. This page explains what it does, what it does not do, and the limits of what it produces.

An independent, automated research tool. You give it a ticker, a holding period and a target return, and it estimates a fair value from public financial data using a transparent model, then shows the assumptions and the technical and fundamental context behind that estimate.
Its purpose is to organize information so you can do your own research faster. Everything it produces is analysis — a reading of the numbers — not a direction to act.
Every investment decision you make, and every consequence of it, is yours. Before you act on anything you read here, consider speaking with a licensed professional who knows your finances, your time horizon and your tolerance for loss.
Fair value is an estimate. It comes from a model that applies assumptions about growth, margins, discount rates and multiples. Those assumptions are simplifications, and any of them can be wrong — sometimes badly wrong, especially for companies with volatile earnings, unusual capital structures, early-stage businesses or stressed balance sheets.
Market data is sourced from third parties and may be delayed, incomplete, restated or simply inaccurate. Confidence and data-quality indicators describe how well the inputs covered a given company; they are not a prediction of the outcome.
Outputs can be materially wrong and should never be the sole basis for a decision. Treat fair value as a range to think with, not a target the market owes you.
Investing involves the risk of loss, including the total loss of the amount invested. Prices can move against any valuation for reasons no model anticipates. Past performance and model outputs do not predict future results.
The service is provided as is and as available. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no warranty that the analysis is accurate, complete, current, uninterrupted or fit for a particular purpose, and we accept no liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of the app or from reliance on anything it produces.
Availability can change: data providers, integrations and the service itself may be interrupted, delayed or discontinued.
If anything here is unclear, or you want to know how a specific estimate was produced, reach out through the contact page. We answer questions about the method, not about whether you should buy or sell a security.
Investicated provides independent analysis for research purposes. It is not investment advice, a recommendation, or an offer to buy or sell any security. Investing involves risk of loss.
